Hands on Science Program

The International Preschool in Munich is happy to announce that we are the exclusive heirs in Germany of the previous Hands on Science Outreach begun in the USA.  HOSO was created through the National Science Foundation, a recreational science program for children which stimulates science awareness through the fun of active involvement in experiments, games, music and projects.  There are 3 programs that we offer throughout the school year - each lasting 8 weeks. Each year is part of a larger 3-year cycle and means that children can participate continually without repeating a theme.

Objectives include helping your child develop skills using the scientific processes of observation, measurement, testing and peer discussion. We seek to develop a keen awareness of our natural world and the delicate network in which it is a part. HOSO further seeks to increase commnunication skills through acquiring new vocabulary and concepts.
